How long will it take before I receive my download link and map update via email?

You will receive an email with the instructions, download links along with the map update within 12 hours of placing your order.

Will this give me the latest BMW interface like on the 2017/2018 models with iDrive 5/6?  

No.  The iDrive interface will not change as a result of updating the maps.   This  product will update the road map which covers (Infrastructure changes,  Freeways Exits,  Regional Roads and Point of Interests).   If you’re interested in upgrading to iDrive 5 or iDrive 6,  please contact us for a quote on a hardware retrofit.

What will I receive? 

You will receive the 20 digit unlock code for the map update as well as the links to download the map update via email.

What is required from my end? 

A USB stick with at least 32GB of storage is required for a CIC Premium Update and 64GB for a NBT NEXT Update.   Once you make your purchase, you will receive instructions on how to format your USB as well as the download link and VIN Specific Unlock Code.
