He sent me the connector I needed and then we made an appointment for 8 PM on a Friday might. He took me through it, step by step, and he completed the job in about two hours. “I had Steve do a remote coding session on my new M2 and I was very happy with what was done. Steve was very professional and responsive and the coding was done quickly and effectively. I had a number of items changed that definitely enhance the experience of driving what is already an amazing car.
Having the Active Sound Design turned off was the most notable. The stock engine and exhaust noise on the M2 sounds so good there is really no need to try to add to it, especially in sport/sport + mode. This change alone made the cost of the coding very easy to justify.

“Steve came to the rescue after I had spent many frustrating hours with my dealership trying to figure out why my phone wasn’t syncing with my new 2015 328xi the same way that it had thru “Office” in my 2011 328xi. BMW’s switch of Office from a standard in its Premium Nav package to a “stand alone” option is the best kept secret out there! The Dealership insisted that it had to be factory installed and that I was out of luck for as long as I owned this car. I would never have taken this particular car if I had known that it didn’t have Office. With the new laws levying huge fines demerit points for cell phone use while driving, as a real estate broker, I couldn’t imagine spending the next several years without “Office” in my car. That’s when I found Steve!!
Steve scheduled a meeting with me and my car right away. Within 10 minutes he had Office up and running, matter of fact, the programming was so quick and easy, that for a bit more, I had him program my fob to close my windows and pull in my mirrors when I lock the car. His prices are more than reasonable, he’s a super nice guy and I’d recommend him to absolutely anyone who’s just figured out that their 2015 BMW doesn’t have the same stuff their older one had. It was well worth the trip from Hamilton to Toronto!!!

He was able to remotely enable several functions (in my opinion) should be automatically enabled in the BMW (but that’s a complaint about BMW not Steve) as well to update the map to the 2015 version. Both coding changes and map updates improve the driving experience which is already positive.
I would strongly recommend Steve for those who are willing to participate in the process for remote coding as some user (e.g. owner) support is required but Steve will guide you thru the steps.
