FAQ

Will this allow me to use the factory OEM BMW Navigation?

Unless your unit has the blue plug on the back of the head unit, the factory navigation will not work. If you use the built in apps on Apple CarPlay (Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps), these will work fine as they rely on your iPhone for the GPS data fix.

Is any splicing required with the wiring kit?

The wiring is 100% reversible as we provide replacement wiring for the display cable, armrest USB and roof liner mic as opposed to cutting and running the existing wiring.

Does my vehicle need the combox wiring add-on?

This is only applicable to 2012-2014 models that came with either Entry or CIC from the factory as the connections from USB, Bluetooth, Roof Liner Mic are routed to the combox in the trunk and additional wiring would be needed to allow these connections to run straight to the NBT EVO head unit.
